Q: Where can I find an attorney that will take a prisoners rights case that contains deliberate indifference?

The incident involves State prison and correctional health executives transferring over 100 prisoners from a Covid19 Hotspot to another facility that had no Covid19 cases. I was among those at the receiving facility who then became ill as a result of that transfer. The executives acted with deliberate indifference when they knew of and were informed in writing of, the risks involved but chose to make the transfer with no safety measures, although the safety protocols which could have, and normally were followed would have prevented the disaster. This decision was made due to a desire by top administrators to meet a deadline. There is substantial evidence which bares this out, discovered by the Office of the Inspector General.

A: You can find many good law firms in and around Oakland and San Francisco who are experts in civil rights cases of the kind you describe. It seems you already have developed a good bit of evidence to support your case. I suggest you prepare a chronology of the events, if you haven't already done so, and link all the evidence you have to your story so you can provide an attorney with a solid case at the outset.

I know several good law firms in that area who have had years of experience handling these kinds of cases, so you shouldn't have too much difficulty connecting with a good firm to help you.
