A: MUCH MORE INFO NEEDED.

IS 11/18 .......2018?

BECAUSE YOU HIRE A LAWYER DOESN'T MEAN YOU WILL GET OFF FROM THE CHARGES. A LAWYER FORCES THE DA TO MEET THEIR BURDEN OF PROOF. WHETHER THE CLIENT DID THE ACT OR NOT IS NOT THE ISSUE. IT IS WHETHER THERE IS ENOUGH EVIDENCE TO SHOW/PROVE THE D IS GUILTY.

THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN INNOCENT AND DID NOT DO THE ACT.

SOMETIMES A LAWYER WILL SUGGEST TO A CLIENT S/HE PLEAD GUILTY TO A MUCH LESSER CHARGE, RATHER THAN RUN THE RISK OF BEING FOUND GUILTY OF A MUCH MORE SERIOUS CHARGE. THE LAWYER SIZES UP THE EVIDENCE AGAINST THEIR CLIENT AND DISCUSSES PRO AND CON'S OF TRIAL.

AS YOU HAVE SEEN FROM THE NEWS, WHEN POLICE GIVE AN ORDER THAT IS NOT IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWED, THEY WILL "TAKE THE SUSPECT" TO THE GROUND? AND SOMEONE WILL GET HURT.

A: He can, and should, contact another lawyer for a second opinion before resolving his case.
