Q: Can an employer make you get a covid vaccine for employment consideration? Sounds discriminatory to me.

A: Generally, the answer to this question is yes. However, there are two exceptions to this general rule. If you have a religious objection to receiving the vaccine, or if you suffer from a disability that renders you unable to receive the vaccine, you can request an exemption from this requirement as a reasonable accommodation.

A: This is not considered discrimination. Employers may require current employees to get vaccinated, and by extension, for candidates who are being considered for hire. However, if you have a medical or a religious exemption from getting the vaccine, and you are not hired, discrimination is a possibility.
