A: This is a misdemeanor offense in California. The cost of the lawyer will depend on who you decide to hire. Keep in mind, that the price of a lawyer often does not correlate to either their experience or prior success.

A: Attorneys are prohibited by Justia from giving cost estimates on this site. Not all criminal defense attorneys are the same (experience, skill etc.) so call several, ask for a consultation and what the amount of legal fees they would charge.

Be aware that most of the time PC 25850(a)/(c)(7) is usually charged as a misdemeanor but it can be charged as a Felony in which case the legal fees will be higher.
