Lake Worth, FL asked in Consumer Law and Contracts for Florida

Q: Can I change pool contractor or sue him?

We signed a contract for a pool in August 2020, it took months for the permit and they started digging 6 months ago. They have only worked 6-7 actual days on it. Tiling was supposed to be done 2 weeks ago and the contractor stopped responding to us a week ago. Can we sue him to finish? or can we hire another contractor to finish? All we have is a signed quote without really any terms.

A: Yes, you can do both. A signed quote is an enforceable contract if it is signed by them.
