if you were driving a car and the friend had drugs on him/her and you didn't know about it, you would likely be arrested for Possession.........NOT OWNERSHIP

I agree with attorney Gribow that an otherwise innocent person can find themself in trouble when they spend time with persons who commit crimes. However, generally speaking, most criminal offenses require some level of intent which must be established and proven by the prosecution.
