Kingsville, TX asked in Personal Injury and Car Accidents for Texas

Q: Asked to see the breakdown costs of the settlement, but they said I must sign and receive the check first is this true?

Hello, so a year ago I got into a car accident, and skip forward to now, we agreed on a settlement, but the amount I’m receiving doesn’t seem right, so I asked my attorney if I could get a break down of the settlement , but he said I must sign forms and wait for the settlement to be deposited before I can receive the break down, is this true I must sign and receive the check before I can see the breakdown?
