Q: How dose it work for registration on a used car from a dealership in ca?
I bought a car from a used car lot in CA I was given a temporary registration paper while the dealership put in for the registration. It has only been a week but I was pulled over and my car was towed because they said the registration is not in my name.
A: You should consult a local attorney about your situation and take him all the documents that you had for the police. If the registration matched your driver's license this should not have happened. (easy for me to say after it has happened) So sorry to hear this.
