Q: I have questions regarding being sued. In an auto accident. Are there any available pro bono lawyers?

A: If you are being sued relating to a car accident, you should check with your car insurance company as they can likely appoint an attorney to represent you and defend against the case. There may be pro bono attorneys out there, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.

if you had an accident, your insurance co should be defending you.

if you did not have ins, the DMV will suspend your license for a year when they learn of this.

if you had insurance and it was not enough, then your assets are exposed.

However, unless you have a lot of assets, most lawyers would probably not pursue litigation when there is little chance of recovering money.
