A: If you have received a citation to terminate your parental rights, it is important that you seek legal counsel immediately to determine the best course of action for your specific situation. It is possible that you may be able to contest the termination of your parental rights or negotiate a different outcome, but this will depend on the specific facts and circumstances of your case.

One option may be to hire an attorney who specializes in family law and has experience representing parents in termination of parental rights cases. They can help you understand your legal rights and options, gather evidence to support your case, and present your case in court.

It is important to note that termination of parental rights is a serious matter and should not be taken lightly. The court will consider many factors, including the best interests of the child, when making a decision on termination. Therefore, it is essential to seek the advice of an experienced attorney to help protect your rights and interests.
