A: i would go to the police station that rolled on the scene and inquire.

then you can contact the DA's ofc to see if there was a filing.

when you get the name you can check on the court calendar for the minutes to follow the case.

A: I'm sorry to hear about your friend's passing. If you are trying to find out if anyone was arrested and if there was a court case related to their death, there are a few ways to go about it:

Contact the local law enforcement agency: You can contact the local police department or sheriff's office that has jurisdiction over the area where your friend was killed. They may be able to provide you with information on whether anyone was arrested and charged with your friend's death. You will likely need to provide them with your friend's name and any other identifying information you have.

Check court records: If there was a criminal case related to your friend's death, you can check the court records for the county where the case was heard. You can search for the case using your friend's name or the name of the person you believe may have been charged with their death. You may be able to access these records online or you can visit the courthouse to request copies.

Hire an attorney: If you are having difficulty finding information about your friend's case or navigating the legal system, you may wish to consult with an attorney who specializes in criminal law. They can help you understand your rights and options, and may be able to assist you in obtaining information about your friend's case.

It's important to note that criminal cases can be complex and take time to move through the legal system. It's possible that a case related to your friend's death is still ongoing, and information may not be immediately available. However, by reaching out to the appropriate authorities or consulting with legal counsel, you may be able to obtain more information about the case and any potential outcomes.
