A: A Pennsylvania attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for two weeks. Something isn't fully clear about the roles of the respective attorneys here. But if an attorney is representing the person who hit you, that would usually be an insurance company attorney. If policy limits look like they may be exceeded, additional attorneys could become involved. Since this involves pending legal proceedings, it may be better to seek guidance from an attorney who could advise more thoroughly than is possible in the brief, general format of this Q & A forum. Good luck
