Channelview, TX asked in Employment Discrimination and Employment Law for Texas

Q: I was termined from my job and was told it was inappropiate behaviour . I repeated what one of the employee had said.

But I worded it differently . The guess over heard and was offended. I went to the guest and reinterated that when I said it I was asking it like a question . The coworker said Lokk at the baddy with a fatty , I said not a baddy with a fatty. However the quess accepted my apology. Later on that evening an emplpyee was asked to do something and refused to do it because I was Team lead I talked with her to convince her and she refused. I sent her home. The employee's mother made a complaint on our website that I got away with something that I did but I sent her daughter home. I was called in the office the next day , even though the Manger saw me talking to the customer. They terminated me saying that it could have been a lawsuit against them. However I belive the case was my lifestyle rather than the issue. Even TWC approved my claim indicating that my action did not have anything to do with me doing my job. I knew I was being targetd because the manager told me that the Operator was.
