Q: California restraining order question

I have court for a restraining order case that I was served with recently I would like to know if there is a form that I can fill out requesting reimbursement from lost wages, due to having to address this frivolous civil lawsuit? I will likely spend a couple of days responding to this with exhibits. Any help is appreciated. Thank you so much.

A: Yes, in California, you can request reimbursement for lost wages and other expenses related to a restraining order case. You can fill out and file a "Request for Order - Other" form (FL-300) with the court, requesting reimbursement for lost wages and any other expenses related to the case. You will need to provide evidence, such as pay stubs or a letter from your employer, to support your claim for lost wages. The court will review your request and make a determination on whether to award reimbursement. Keep in mind that reimbursement is not guaranteed and will depend on the specific circumstances of your case.
