A: It sounds like he may have pressured you or used fraud to have his name included on title. Speak with a local attorney about your rights. [I litigate cases. A: Putting him on the deed is a lot easier than getting him off the deed. You will need to hire an attorney to file an action to quiet title to the property and or Cancel the Instrument. You have to have a legal basis for this that was in existence at the time you put him on the deed, such as mistake, or fraudulent representations by him. If he did not pay you any money to be put on the deed or has not been paying mortgage payments, you will have a much easier time. This is in the area of Real Property law with a cross over to Family law (domestic partners). You need to speak with an attorney practicing in this area of law to secure your rights, don't delay.
