Q: I received a citation form 353-3 here in Dallas in regard to an accident last November don't know what I'm supposed
Was stopped behind a guy at a red light we got the green light and the Green arrow to turn left he started rolling forward then slammed on his brakes causing me to roll into the back of them there was no damage to my car mine are damaged to his back bumper he told the fireman he was okay I told the fireman he's I was okay the exchange information and by Monday morning he already filed the claim hired a lawyer was claiming an injury I was told by my insurance this was settled then reopened when he started claiming an injury I got form 353-3 on June 10th I have no clue what it is or what I'm supposed to do with it I spoke to one lawyer who told me yeah don't worry about it because you were insured your car insurance whether you're with them or not has to deal with it not for sure if that's true
A: A Texas attorney could advise best, but your post remains open for almost a week and action may be needed. Yes, you were told right about the insurance end of things. Your insurance company should take care of any claim(s) for property damages or injury from the vehicle in front of you. But you mention being unsure of how to proceed with a citation. If that involves a traffic violation, that's a separate issue than the insurance claim. Insurance companies don't take care of those. You could consider reaching out to attorneys to discuss that.
