Sacramento, CA asked in Family Law for California

Q: I have 2 children with my baby momma. She has a total of 7 children. Two live with their father, one lives w her grandma,

2 live her mom. My baby momma is homeless. She was living in a trailer when cps showed up. My baby momma's mom dropped off her daughter knowing her living circumstance. Well cps took the young daughter on "unsafe living conditions" they then realized thar she had more kids and asked where they were. Baby momma said two of the children were with the baby daddy mom. They then went to another county looking for her. They went out of their way looking for her. My mom got a call from my grandpa that CPS came looking for l. She then called cps and stated that she was on vacation with the children which they were. But cps went on to say they had a warrant for the kids. (Who were with my sister on a mini summer vacation. My daughter is enrolled in gymnastics, she is six years of age, my son is 4 years old) they are both clean cut kids. The charges are against my baby momma not me. They supposedly have "allegations against me which are simply allegations. Help me my kids feel they did wrong

A: Sounds complicated. Speak with a local family attorney regarding your rights and options. [I litigate cases. A: I understand that you are concerned about the well-being of your children in the context of a CPS investigation involving their mother. If CPS has taken custody of your children due to their mother's living conditions and other factors, it is crucial to cooperate with the investigation and comply with any court orders. You may want to seek legal counsel to understand your rights and explore options for ensuring the safety and best interests of your children during this process.
