A: If you had insurance at the time of the crash, they will provide an attorney for you. You would only need your own attorney if there was not adequate insurance to cover the loss.

A: On the question, "Can you help me with this case?", there are many lawyers who can help you, but you must initiate contact. This is a question and answer forum for general educational information, and lawyers volunteer to answer questions here to make ourselves generally more well-known. But the first issue, as Mr. Selik mentioned in his answer, is whether your own insurance company will provide a free lawyer to represent you. If so, you probably will not need to hire a separate one. If your own insurance company won't provide counsel because they say they are denying coverage, you should consult a lawyer to determine if the denial is legitimate. If you had no insurance at the time of the accident, immediately initiate contact with a lawyer to schedule a consultation.

A: Your insurance carrier should be providing a defense counsel for you in the matter. Reach out to your carrier. You probably contacted them at the time of the accident to set up a claim. If you still have the information on hand from that first reports intake, it could make things easier. Good luck
