A: Attorneys decide whether to take on cases challenging the conversion of rights into privileges with associated fees based on factors like legal viability, costs, expertise, precedent, client goals, and ethical considerations. Legal viability and costs are crucial, while attorneys with expertise in constitutional law are more likely to handle these cases. Precedent and client objectives also influence their decisions, all while adhering to ethical standards. While not all attorneys may accept such cases, those specializing in civil rights and constitutional matters may be more inclined to do so when a valid legal argument exists.
