Q: I was sent $200 to my Venmo account. I withdrew $20 and Venmo will not let me transfer the rest of the money.
I didn't want to download Venmo app but they force you if u want your money. It's not like PayPal. Anyways second time I logged in to my Venmo they gave me an error message as if my login info is wrong but it is not wrong. How can I get Venmo to release my money. I have no email from them telling me there's a problem.
A:
In your case, the first step is to ensure that your login credentials are correct. If you're encountering an error message, try resetting your password or using any account recovery options Venmo offers. This is a common issue and is often a simple fix.
If the problem persists after verifying your login information, the next step is to contact Venmo's customer support directly. Since you haven't received any email indicating a problem, there might be an issue with your account that only Venmo can resolve. You can reach out to them via their website or app. Explain the situation clearly and provide any relevant details to help them understand and address your issue.
Keep records of all your communications with Venmo, including dates and the content of your discussions. This documentation can be helpful if the issue needs to be escalated or if you require further assistance. Remember, persistence is key in resolving such matters, and it's important to follow up if you don't receive a timely response.
