Q: Can an employer call the DA and find out information on my case if there is no consent given

A: There is no law that would prevent an employer from doing its own investigation about criminal charges pending against one of its employees. Furthermore, there is no law that would prohibit an employer to act upon information learned about an open, unresolved criminal charge against one of its employees.
