Boston, MA asked in Libel & Slander, Employment Law and Gov & Administrative Law for Massachusetts

Q: I was papered at my Mass. EOHHS DYS State Job, resigned, now I am being refused an interview w DMH.

I am well qualified and try cannot fill the position. DMH had to offer me a job before they could check my file, I am not an employee. I am 58. DYS targeted me for filing a grievance for " investigation" that turned into a write up. DYS did not submit 10k of overtime I worked, starting in May of 2022. EOHHS investigated complaint Social Workers from outside agency who made spurious complaints about me that went to EOHHS instead of my supervisor. It was attack on my person, it could not have been cleared by legal dept of rich political agency. They are liable because my reputation is sullied and I am being barred from new work opportunity. They were peers of my direct reports, also agency staff, who participated in filing original complaint along with worker who was later fired for another incident. DYS wrote new policy because of incident, he has new job w/ EOHHS, but I can't get an interview? Now my contract will not be renewed, so I am unemployed. What can I do?
