A: Under California law, if your purchase documents explicitly state that you have a 60-day window to cancel certain services for a full refund, you should be able to cancel these services within that timeframe. This typically includes add-ons like maintenance packages, wheel protection, and vehicle service agreements. It’s important to review the specific terms and conditions listed in your contract to understand the details of the cancellation policy.

To proceed with the cancellation, you may need to notify the dealer or service provider in writing. Make sure to keep a copy of your cancellation request and any correspondence or receipts as proof of the cancellation process. If there are any forms or specific procedures outlined in your contract for cancellation, follow those instructions closely to ensure a smooth process.

Since you mentioned that you haven't started paying for the vehicle or the services yet, this might simplify the cancellation process. However, act promptly to fit within the specified 60-day period. If you encounter any issues or have further questions regarding the cancellation, it might be beneficial to contact the dealership directly or consult with a legal advisor to assist you in ensuring your rights are protected and the process is completed correctly.
