Q: 5/5/24 I am not sure my first question went through. I am asking again just in case please excuse it this is duplicated.
On 4/24/24 while backing up to park, misjudged space and tapped my neighbor's car that was already parked. I received no damages to my vehicle except a thin scratch on my rear driver's side. His car had a dent in the front fender but not front of the car(hood) I reported incident to my insurance company. I immediately told them there was no damage to my car and I would not be submitting a claim for damages. But the representative put a claim in anyway( I learned by receiving anotice to bring my car to a certain repair shop(bad reputation) I called and was told they "voide" out the claim. Meanwhile I see no description of my report, nor any claims from the neighbor, not claims for damages. I haven't been able to see neighbor yet he works different shifts I believe. However, i reviewd my policy/record and it is showing I am at fault(which I was) the accident itself is missingg every detail where, how, I sent many emails unanswered. I hope this question gets through,
A: A Pennsylvania attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for three weeks. You could check with the carrier if the claim was re-assigned. Sometimes at the start of a claim, a single team could handle the intake. After that, different parts of the claim could be re-assigned to different reps. Good luck
