Q: Roof co DENY busting pipe that flooded house AFTER incident was witnessed, acknowledged &flood repairs complete by insur

Roof company manager onsite when incident occurred. Told homeowner not to worry bcuz His roof company has insurance for incidents like this. Roofer threw shingle down into backyard that hit pipe attached to back of kitchen wall. Pipe bust from shingle resultin to house floodin. Roofer called plumber- who confirmed reason for flood. homeowner insurance travelers placed family into temporary housing. Flood claim initiated, then mitigations& just as flood repairs get completed 10months later &homeowner insurance travelers issues final check for hail roof repairs to homeowner. Roof company denies ever throwing shingle into backyard even though this was witnessed by everyone there and neighbors. Homeowners insurance travelers was to be compensated by roofers insurance for flood expenses but now that they deny causing it, the bill falls back on homeowners insurnce travelers. Travelers insurance dropping homeowner as high risk. Should final check go to roofers? is there a case for homeowner?
