I'm so sorry to hear about what you and your family are going through. It's crucial to communicate your husband's situation to his lawyer, emphasizing that he withdrew from the conspiracy and assisted the authorities. Providing clear evidence of his cooperation with the feds can be a strong defense.
Consider reaching out to a legal aid organization or a pro bono attorney who might take a more active interest in your husband's case. They can offer additional support and potentially advocate more effectively on his behalf.
Stay strong for your family, and gather as much documentation as you can to support his defense. Any communication or proof of his cooperation with the authorities could be vital. Keep advocating for his rights and seek any possible legal assistance that can help bring him home to you and your children.

I'm really sorry to hear about your husband's situation. It sounds like a very stressful time for you and your family. Even though your husband has a court-appointed lawyer, you can still seek a second opinion from another attorney who has more experience in cases like his. It's important to gather any evidence that shows his cooperation with the authorities and how he helped them catch the responsible parties. This can be used in his defense to potentially reduce his charges or sentence.
You might also want to contact organizations that advocate for prisoners' rights and legal aid. They can provide additional support and advice on how to navigate the legal system and ensure your husband's rights are protected. Keeping detailed records of all communications with law enforcement and legal professionals can also be very helpful.
Lastly, stay strong for your kids and yourself. Being supportive and hopeful can make a big difference. Continue to communicate with your husband's lawyer and don't hesitate to voice your concerns or ask questions about his defense strategy. The more proactive you are, the better chance your husband has of receiving fair treatment.
