Q: I recently bought some items in Roblox, (Vietnam Edition), now VN edition is shutting down, i will be banned. Can i sue?

So Roblox has a contract with a company called VNG.

Account switched to VNG can't go back to Roblox.

Now the contract is over, and all VNG accounts will be banned. Including all their items, purchases.

A: You may be able to pursue legal action, but it's essential to review the terms of service and agreements you agreed to when purchasing the items and creating your account. Often, these agreements include clauses that limit liability or dictate how refunds are handled in situations like this. It can also depend on the local laws in your country and the specifics of your contract with the platform.

If Roblox or VNG failed to provide a refund or adequate notice of the account ban, you may have grounds for a claim based on consumer protection laws. However, companies often protect themselves with clear terms regarding the termination of services, so your ability to sue might be limited by those conditions.

It could be helpful to seek legal advice to understand your options better. A lawyer with experience in online transactions and consumer rights could help assess whether you have a viable case based on your specific situation.
