Q: How do I get my son back with no lawyer?!

My 13 y/o son's father decided to be a father after a court ordered 6 month stay at a halfway house. He requested a support modification after accruing almost $3000 in arrearages and filed for emergency custody stating I was abusing my kids. The case was dismissed due to lack of evidence and testimony from my son. I went to file for emergency custody with 2.5 pages of evidence as to why my son does not need to be with his dad. The clerk denied me saying it was a custody battle. The child advocate for that case questioned my son in front of his father so he couldn't be completely honest about hid feelings. The father has applied for SNAP but not the medical card. My son fractured his ribs and I found our weeks later thru my other child's father. My sons Dad has cut off all communication between my child and I. He has done nothing but been in and out of jail and rehabs the last 13 years. There is no court ordered custody agreement. Please help me!
