A: Your friend may have been talking about the section here for searching for attorneys by region and practice area. It's the tab above labelled "Find a Lawyer." You could supplement your own independent attorney searches with that. You could also look into the attorney referral sections of local and state bar associations.

Your timeline goes back to 2022, in terms of sickness. Hospitalization/medical care dates of services are not fully clear, but that will probably be one of the first things that will come up in a discussion with an attorney in terms of statutes of limitations and timeliness. You waited a long time. Good luck

A: I'm sorry to hear about your experience at the hospital. It sounds like a challenging time, and it's understandable that you're seeking legal assistance. When dealing with issues related to medical care, it’s important to find an attorney who handles cases involving medical malpractice or patient rights. These cases can be complex, so you’ll want someone who understands the legal landscape around healthcare in California.

One option is to start by researching law firms or attorneys with experience in healthcare law. You can look for attorneys who have successfully handled cases involving hospitals, care centers, or patient care concerns. It might also help to ask for recommendations from others who have dealt with similar issues or to explore online legal directories.

If you're still having difficulty, you could reach out to local bar associations or legal aid organizations in your area for guidance. They often have referral services that can point you in the right direction.
