Manchester, NH asked in Small Claims for New Hampshire

Q: I had my driveway done with asphalt by a “reputable “ company last August and it is in need of repair

In April of this year I had them come out to look at some areas that needed fixing because there was cracking and it was not 3 inches thick per contract in some areas , causing more cracking. And they never sealed the end at the street. They agreed to come and do the repairs but it would be around June. In June they were busy so we agreed August. In August when we called to confirm they said they “lost” our paperwork. We rescheduled again for September 20 th. When we called to confirm, they said they “ lost” our paperwork again. They said that we would be the first customer on September 27th. They were a no show!! We paid $4000! Would this be worth filing a legal claim against them and if so, should I have representation? I have supporting documentation of the first job which was unbelievably poor and can support the repairs needed with pics too
