Q: If a new child support order does not order health insurance coverage does the original order still stand?
My 2017 court order orders my ex-husband to pay the premium to provide health insurance coverage for our child.
My new child support order states under health insurance "The Court is not ordering how health care coverage must be provided for the children because the Court does not have enough information to determine the availability of accessible health care coverage for the children (coverage that could be used for the children's primary care). The law requires every parent to provide or pay for medical support. The Division of Child Support (DCS) or any parent can enforce this requirement."
My ex has been paying for insurance and has now said he is not required to pay. Is this true?
