Alliance, OH asked in Workers' Compensation for Ohio

Q: Is this a violation of hippa.

I got injured at work, went to the e.r and the claim got sent to the previous owner of the business and their workers comp insurance (they owned it about 2 years ago and while at the e.r for the incident,

They asked the company name on my pay stub because they were having issues finding my employer in the system, obviously someone recorded it wrong as i never worked for the previous owner.) That business of course, said I didn't work for them and ohio bwc sent new paperwork with the correct employer information. Was that just poor handling of information or a violation of my health information.

Separately, I also began receiving phone calls from Ohio bwc and another companies insurance because my phone number got put on someone else's file. I was provided with his name and case number via voicemail
