Q: My school has some teacher that are against a Jesus club, and they are trying to end it. Can they do this?
They are saying that since the club is a bible study then the club shouldn’t be named Jesus club because of the other religions in school. One of my teachers is saying that the club is not inclusive, but it is, the club was made students that wants to learn more about Jesus and the Bible but everyone is welcome. And if this whole issue is about inclusivity, why is she only picking on this club if not everything in the school is inclusive? Why is the club a problem but only having bathrooms for make and female not one? Why should the school be inclusive about religion but not gender? There is no way to make everyone feel included in school, so the club shouldn’t be an issue.
