Q: I have a question about partial unemployment and overpayment
I have been employed for 3 years with the same employer and because of business slow down during the fall and winter months i collect partial unemployment. I still have work hours but they are minimized more than 50%. I also got another p/t job that lasted 2 weeks. I did not voluntarily quit I requested more training because i could do the job. The did not respond so I didn't show up at job location and then the next day I went to work at my other employer. I submitted my work hours and pay on my weekly claim form and within 3 months my work hours increased and I stopped filing my claim form. Three months later I get an over payment notification in the mail.
