Q: Is it legal to alter the terms of a government issued contract
Hello my town is forcing me to hook up my house to the town sewer as my septic tank is leaking. In the various contracts I need to sign it also says I'll have to replace my perfectly functioning well with city water but those contracts are able to be edited. If I removed the parts about replacing my well, sign it and then they mail me the copies would that be legal?
