A: An Arkansas attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for a month. I'm sorry for your ordeal. You ask why you can't find an attorney to take the matter? One reason could be that the law firms you approached felt that it could take considerable resources to prove, in terms of investigations, depositions, records review, etc. It isn't your typical case, and law firms tend to stick with familiar settings in which they have more confidence about the outcome, especially if they're handling things on a contingency basis. Another reason could be that they don't want to move forward on something that the DA's office won't move forward with - they might have reservations about that element confronting them in the civil case. I hope you are okay. You could continue reaching out to attorneys. You could supplement your efforts with the "Find a Lawyer" tab above and the attorney referral resources of state and local bar associations. Keep in mind that those resources are outside this forum, so that any arrangements would be between you and attorneys you reached out to. About your last question, it isn't a commonly arising case. But there have been such cases, including overseas. Good luck
