Q: In the state of sc must all public schools have a crosswalk marked on the ground?
Elementary school used to have crosswalks all four ways but after resurfacing there are none and a school zone sign doesn’t blink when supposed to on an intersecting road that belongs to the county technically but scdot project manager Bart mccarter refused any additional signage or temporary crosswalk student have been walking to this school for years and they started school August 7th there are students I have footage of walking daily to and from school. Scdot commented on the elementary schools newsletter saying the road isn’t safe to cross at this time. My car wouldn’t start and the bus already came so my child missed a day of public education because the road conditions are unsafe to cross
