Little Rock, AR asked in Appeals / Appellate Law, Civil Litigation, Civil Rights and Constitutional Law for Arkansas

Q: Falsely sentenced due to numerous errors during trial as S/order list. Will a post conviction lawyer consider?

Attorney did not appeal case after being sentenced by the court after announcing to judge and attorney of an appeal. Court states on sentencing order I negotiated a guilty plea in which a trial hearing w/testimony was given. Case sentenced to prison was first announced in court while attending court for another court case without warrant. I was never booked in jail on the case I was sentenced to prison until after trial, 2 years after the false accusation was filed. Police Officer who wrote the false police report did not appear after 10 court attempts to appear during trial. Did not receive a warrant until 4 months from county clerk and no motion of discovery was filed with in 9 months or longer when asked for warrant numerous times each month for a 6 month plus span.
