Q: My NP are stopping my Opiates after 20 years
for almost 20 years I have been taking Oxycontin and Percocet for over all pain, I have been to clinics and multiple specialists and this seems to be the only way to get by, however my NP's who took over the practice from my old doctor have decided they are not comfortable with continued prescribing them to me and have been cutting back slowly for over 18 months. My pain is through the roof and I am addicted to the opiates, on my doctors advice! I am now tempted to go to the street for supplements even though I am afraid of street drugs and I don't really of the money to do so.
