Q: GUY WONT RETURN MY TRUCK - AGREEMENT EXPIRED!!!! Florida. What do I do?!
I have a leased vehicle. I went through the transfer of loan process with a guy interested in buying the truck, here in Florida. We had a signed agreement that he can use the truck from May through the end of the transfer process. He paid the amount of the truck payment until the process ended. He paid two additional months, August and September, but I requested the vehicle be returned. He said “no, I won’t return the vehicle take me to court”. I wanted to mark the vehicle as stolen but police said it’s a civil matter since it involved a contract. He hasn’t paid October or November and got into an accident with it. What should I do? Replevin seems like it’ll take forever!! Agreement ended in JULY!! Agreement was to take over loan OR buyout. The buyout was $82K at the time. HE JUST KEEPS USING IT. HE SAID “TAKE ME TO COURT ITS CIVIL”
