Q: Can i sue for my dogs murder if they lied to police & he was found in their pool days after he was tortured to death?
A few months ago I was sexually assaulted and less than 2 weeks after the man was arrested; my dog was murdered (autopsy confirmed) in retaliation. He was tortured to death and 3 days later thrown into the mansion's pool that is through the woods at the neighboring property. A relative confirmed my dogs body was not in the pool the night before but he had been dead for days. So how does a dead dog get into the pool? Whenever the family was asked to review their cameras, they said they didn't have any. They became very defensive and their son was arrested on unrelated charges the next week where in jail he has admitted he killed my dog for compensation in the form of heroin by my ra**st. The family is now seeking legal action against me for my dogs running loose and "attacking" them. guess who has camera footage all of a sudden? (And the footage shows no aggression what so ever) i want to sue them for the wrongful death of my baby because police couldn't care less & they have a lot of $
