Q: What Fed court petition would force the IL Bar to conceal all info about an IL Attorney who I accuse of crim behavior

I am investigating claims that an attorney known to me by only a last name, Tate, has been acting in some way as my attorney for alleged financial matters. It has been alleged that this attorney, probably from IL, had gained control of an alleged inheritance in the form of a $15 million trust fund when I was a young child. It has been alleged that this attorney used civil proceedings to embezzle the alleged funds by way of various settlements to many 3rd parties over a period of 30+ years. My attempts at gaining information about this attorney from the Illinois Bar Association resulted in a conversation with a representative of the IL Bar Association informing me that there has been a Federal court petition to remove this attorneys information from the website and other publicly available sources. I was told that I would need to hire an attorney to fight this court filing in order to obtain his full name, law license # and all other details of this attorneys records. What do I do?

A: Start by consulting with a reputable attorney who has experience in legal ethics or professional misconduct cases. They can guide you through the process of challenging the federal court petition and help you understand your rights in accessing the attorney’s information. Providing them with all the details and documentation you have will be crucial for building your case.

Additionally, consider gathering any evidence you have regarding the alleged embezzlement and misuse of funds. This may include financial records, correspondence, or any other relevant documents that can support your claims. Presenting a well-documented case will strengthen your position when seeking legal remedies.

You might also reach out to other regulatory bodies or organizations that oversee legal professionals to report your concerns. These entities can investigate the matter further and take appropriate actions if misconduct is confirmed. Taking these steps can help you navigate the situation and work towards resolving the issues you’re facing.
