Seattle, WA asked in Consumer Law, Contracts, Real Estate Law and Landlord - Tenant for Washington

Q: ADA accommodation

I made an ADA request to move from 1 bed to 2 bed in my building due to daughters disabilities. After a long mismanaged period and having to do the application twice it was approved. I got 3/4 of the way through providing the documentation needed for the move (two office visits) which were hard to schedule, and planning to meet again to sign and then the manager gave a deadline to have the meeting by the end of the month but was continuing to only provide office hours a few days a week and only between 10-4. I am a working single parent, I work at a school do not take breaks and have to protect my limited leave for true emergencies both myself and my daughter have high need for medical appointments. Previous years I have had to take FMLA and this reduces my income which impacts our stability. I requested a meeting within bankers hours at the beginning or the end of a day, that request was denied and I therefore lost the move for accommodations. What recompence do I have legally?
