A: No. But it might be indicative of a scam, which included transferring the title to your house by a forgery. Check with the county recording office ASAP and make sure your title is correct.

A: Dear Rome Home Owner

No. It is illegal to sell the house you own without you engaging a real estate broker to do so. Contact a local lawyer to help you.

A: Greetings:

If you are the vested owner of the property (reflected on the Deed), it is impossible for your home to be listed absent your express, written permission and executed Listing Agreement. You should contact that brokerage immediately.

A: Many new real estate sites have popped up in recent years. Some have postings for homes that are not currently for sale. Upon closer examination, they could list a sale date for the property from the past, or a note that the property is no longer for sale. But a house that you have no wishes to sell should not appear as an active listing. Good luck
