Q: If a kid receives SSI because he is Autistic, then the parents divorced, I will that be dealt with?

Parents have been separated for years. Mother has lost her home and is living in various hotels. Kids live with dad, she sees them when it is convenient.

Assets generally are considered sole and separate property when purchased prior to marriage. Sole and separate property retains that character during marriage with few exceptions.
