Q: Can I get rid of a restraining order I put on someone else from 16 years ago before I was even 18 that my dad did?

When I was young a boyfriend and I got into he stole my phone etc my dad made me put a restraining order on him but it’s not fair it even says child abuse on it when that’s not true… anyway to get it vacated? I don’t talk to the person but still haunts me… my dad will sign anything I need him to

Q: Does my niece have to give Detective her just deceased ( passed in his sleep Saturday morning) fiancee his phon

Detective has been by twice already today asking for his phone, just so they can look to see if he has anything suspicious. Starting to feel like harassment when we are trying to deal with his death two days ago.

Ordinarily when the time of performance is not specified in an agreement, a reasonable time is implied by law. What constitutes a reasonable time depends upon the particular facts and circumstances.

But ordinarily, it does not give the promissory unfettered discretion.
