Austin, TX asked in Car Accidents, Personal Injury and Products Liability for Texas

Q: ConsumerAttyCase? 4 Brand new wheels & tires bought & installed 1hr later had blowout wrecked car sustained back injury

Accident on NB IH35 in Hays Cty Tires were bought & installed in San Antonio My car was the only one involved in the accident I was headed home after installation I had a blowout on driverside rear tire which spun me around and I landed against retaining wall smashed into my front passenger fender facing oncoming traffic My friend that drove me to get my car was following me home. I have previously had 5 blowouts within the past year involving same car and same type of tires. I was at Discount Tire replacing 2 more tires that blew out in San Antonio when I was told that my Rims were causing the blowouts Discount said I needed new Rims so I bought them as well as 4 new tires. They replaced all of the previous blowouts under warranty before. I have pictures and some receipts from Discount Tire Do I have a case if so what kind of Attorney do I use

A: It certainly sounds like you have a valid claim against either Discount Tire, the tire manufacturer, or both. The real question in my mind is whether there were significant injuries from the crash, as these can be expensive cases to pursue.
