Q: My wife is stuck in mental no hold said to nurse wants to leave they won't let her no ama she no harm to herself anyon

I took wife to emergency room and wasn't an emergency just wanted her. Hecked then prescred medicine then go home, well she was medically cleared and stable and now stuck in mental ward 6th floor they told .e no hold on her so she can leave no ,so your keeping her against her will no so she can leave no so what is it they want her to see a doc first that was days ago , first therapist told me to come pick her up last Friday to go home , then nope Monday now ?? What's going on here we have a place to go safe 24/7 care but after telling nurse she can walk out sign an ama , nurse asked her if she wanted to leave she said I want to go home nurse said you can't leave , I have medical poa wife did in 2022 and after the last visit administrator talked with got loud on phone I'm like why you getting loud? End of call he hung up now I can't talk or visit her I want wofe out this is nuts they all act angry and I know my is intimidated with the meds the way they look at her she is scared crys
