If you have sued for over $75,000.00, and the entity you have sued has a home office location in another state, that combination of factors is the most likely reason that the case was removed to federal court.

No, you do not have to sign the papers, but if a judge deems that you have been properly served, then they are able to get divorced without your approval.

So if the divorce documentation says that it is supposed to stop, then that is what is supposed to happen, but you will need to contact your insurance providers to ensure that such occurs.
