You will need to speak to your divorce attorney to come up with the best method, without making this into such a contested divorce that you will need to liquidate the house just to pay the attorney's fee. Q: I was recently charged with family violence. The person wants to drop them.

The person who has pressed the charges would like to drop all charges. I am however on probation in another county. My po of this county states as long as charges are dropped no further action will be taken. What should I do to get these charges dropped before court?

The State unfortunately can pick up the charges. Even if the complainant does not testifies. It mainly depends how well recorded the complainant's statements and report are, and how well the police testify.
